Bradford Council, in partnership with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, is developing the main roads between Bradford and Shipley.

These roads are key transport routes northwards into and out of Bradford city, and providing access into Airedale, Wharfedale and beyond.

The £47m Bradford Shipley Route Improvement Scheme proposes a raft of measures to cut journey times, improve air quality, reduce road casualties and make the surrounding environments more ecologically friendly.

The Bradford Urban Green-way was my major project as part of my PG Diploma and focuses on a wonderful green finger of space which extends along the Bradford and Canal Road corridor.
