I have worked within the landscape industry for over 30 years with 13 of those working within grounds maintenance of parks covering a broad range of work. I was seconded to the parks technical team in 2001 where I got to grips with design and project management of wide range of schemes from conception through to completion.
It was during this time I began my studies at Leeds Beckett University as a part time student and graduated in 2011 with a 2.1 BA Landscape Architecture.
It was in 2018 I realised I wanted to pursue a professional career in Landscape Architecture and an opportunity presented itself working within the Landscape Design and Conservation Team at Bradford Council. This allowed me to continue my personal development with a post graduate degree at Leeds Beckett University and graduated in the summer of 2020 with a distinction. I received chartered status in winter 2022 as a fully qualified chartered member of the Landscape Institute. Im currently employed at Leeds Council, Parks & Countryside delivering comprehensive landscape design service covering a range of environmental and landscape infrastructure projects, together with recreational development schemes i also support the Council’s capital regeneration programme including public realm improvements and wider support for major regeneration funding bids. I have a passion for the work which I am involved, naturally biophilic and I love the landscape.
This purpose of this website is to display a range of work from some of my projects past and recent including work undertaken through my years at Leeds Beckett University.
